Kandi Srinivasa Reddy contested as an MLA from Adilabad Assembly Constituency from Indian National Congress (INC) in 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly Elections and secured 47,724 votes and is the highest votes secured by any congress party MLA candidate in the last 5 consecutive elections after 2004. Reddy is a strong supporter of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Kandi Srinivasa Reddy born in Hasnapur Village in Tamsi mandal of Adilabad district. Reddy went to high school at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kaghaznagar and completed his Bachelors in Electronics at JNTU, Hyderabad. Reddy completed his MBA at Osmania University, Hyderabad and he moved to United States to complete his master’s in information technology at University of Missouri, Rolla, United States.

Kandi Srinivasa Reddy owns Software & IT Business in United States. Reddy's wife Mouna Reddy is also an entrepreneur and into politics. They have two children together: a daughter, Arika and a son, Ishaan.

Reddy runs a charitable trust on his name, Kandi Srinivasa Reddy Foundation and distributed 55,000 pressure cookers to women and under privileged families, and free ambulance services to the needy, and supplying drinking water to the stress areas, and distributes free afternoon meal to the needy.

Kandi Srinivasa Reddy has created more than a ripple in the political circles becoming a familiar name. His opponents are apparently finding it difficult to keep up pace with his rather expeditious style of campaigning in the constituency

Kandi Srinivasa Reddy is currently serving as the Congress Party in-charge for Adilabad Assembly Constituency. Reddy is a strong supporter and political aide of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He is strong contender for President of Adilabad District Congress Committee (DCC).
